Description
English: Twenty-three year-old Centerville, Va., resident Cpl. Herbert Ackerman, a combat engineer with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion attached to Company L, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, removes a 100-mm high explosive mortar round from a buried weapons cache in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq, Feb. 25. During Operation Iron Fist the company uncovered two weapons caches with the help of Iraqi Security Forces.
