English: Adoring fans listen to Marine saxophone players, (Left to Right) Cpl. Nicholas Capko, Sgt. Sgt. Keith Algeo, Cpl. Jesus Abete, and Christopher Dwyer, all from the Parris Island Marine Band. As people filed into Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, one could hear 'thank you" and "Semper Fi" shouted from the fans as they entered the stadium to see the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New England Patriots for the AFC Championship title Sunday. The 45-member band also played during the pre-game and half time shows for a record crowd of 65,242 people. New England beat Pittsburgh 41-27 to advance to the Super Bowl on Feb. 6. |
