Description
English: Meritoriously promoted to corporal June 1, Cpl. Ivan O. Galvan, a Brownsville, Texas native, has learned from his experiences in Iraq. Having graduated from the Survival Language Arabic Course at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Galvan uses his language capabilities to befriend the locals, which he says helps to accomplish the mission of gaining intelligence from local workers entering Camp Fallujah.
