Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Upacara "Pesta Kacang"

Merupakan upacara yang dilaksanakan oleh Orang Ile Ape, Suku Lamaholot yang berada di Kabupaten Lembata - Nusa Tenggara Timur. Upacara ini dilakukan 1 kali dalam 1 tahun, dengan tujuan sebagai ucapan syukur kepada leluhur atas hasil panen, memberi makan anak-anak suku baik laki-laki dan perempuan yang belum menikah. Dalam foto ini adalah makanan dari masing-masing rumah adat suku untuk diberikan kepada anak-anak suku yang isinya berupa nasi beras merah, ikan kering belah, buah kelapa, pisang dan emping jagung. Semua anak-anak suku akan duduk di atas bale-bale itu dan memakan makanan yang sudah disediakan ini.

Tujuannya supaya anak-anak suku diberkati dan dijaga oleh leluhurnya sepanjang tahun.
