Description
Deutsch: Entwicklung der Einwohnerzahlen der Stadt Ummerstadt (Landkreis Hildburghausen) 1994 - 2012; Vor allem seit 2005 ist ein kontinuierlicher Rückgang der Bevölkerungszahlen zu verzeichnen. Dabei fällt auf, dass der Trend der allgmeinen Bevölkerungsentwicklung stark an den Verlauf der Bevölkerungsentwicklung männlich gebunden ist, während die Bevölkerungszahl weiblich fast konstant abnimmt. Dies ist wahrscheinlich auf die generelle Heimattreue der Männer zurückzuführen, die nach Bundeswehr, Zivildienst und Ausbildung wieder zurück nach Hause ziehen, wo sie zwar wirtschaftlich geringe Aussichten, aber die soziale Integration in das dörfliche Vereinsleben (Fußball, Brauverein) vorfinden.
