One of the nicer images of a dwarf galaxy. Plenty of variety within and even a bit of star formation going on. I'm partial to I Zwicky 18 but hardly any dwarf galaxies have that much gas floating around freely.

I'm partial to I Zwicky 18 but hardly any dwarf galaxies have that much gas floating around freely. These smooth and faint smears of stars are far more typical, at least as far as the ones I've seen in the archive go.
