English: U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Joseph Chaparro, an aircraft rescue and firefighting specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, explains techniques for the catcher position during a softball clinic for local youth July 25 at Tracy Village Social and Sports Club, Wanguri, Northern Territory, Australia. The Marines supported the U.S. State Department-sponsored community event with the Northern Territory’s school softball program to mentor the students and teach them how to play competitively. Beyond purely military training, Marines’ involvement in community engagements in the Northern Territory shows their appreciation for Australia’s hospitality. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
