Description
English: GULF OF ADEN (July 14, 2015) U.S. Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force aim at their targets during a night deck shoot aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Shooting accurately with low light is a critical skill for the MRF Marines so they are proficient in night-time conditions. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
