Description
English: Photograph's caption: "Two Millions Heard this Band Play: Have you heard the United States Marine Band play for radio fans? If not, listen in any Wednesday night. This famous musical organization plays by permission of Edwin Denby, Secretary of the United States Navy. Anacostia Naval Station does the modulating on 412 meters, between the hours of 8:30 and 9:30 p. m. The concerts are directed by Captain William M. Santelman, and continue for over an hour. The illustration shows the band section of the interior of the United States Broadcasting Station at Anacostia, D. C." [Radio station NOF]
