Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Tyrley locks. The tow path actually marks the county boundaries between Shropshire and Staffordshire, so the locks are actually in Staffordshire. This part of the canal system was originally the Birmingham and Liverpool Junction Canal, which went from Autherley to Nantwich. The engineer was Thomas Telford.
