Description
English: Two Indigo planters grave at Shikarpur region of Chapra in Nadia district . Once there were over 150 indigo plantation offices (Nilkuthi) under Shikarpur. Nothing remains of that settlement except two graves which seems to be a part of cemetery. The further one is that of Thomas Laidlay who died in 1842 and the close one is that of Elizabeth McKenzie who died in 1847.
