English: Pearl Harbor Survivor Ambrose Ferri, from Waukegan, Ill., strikes a bell during a Two-Bell Ceremony Memorial Tribute for seven Chicago Sailors and Marines who sacrificed their lives aboard USS Arizona (BB 39) Dec. 7, 1941. Ferri, who was a 23-year-old third class yeoman on USS Vestal (AR 4), joined several Pearl Harbor survivors, including John Jack Barry, right, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, seated second from left, and Rear Adm. Clifford S. Sharpe, seated left, commander of Naval Service Training Command at Navy Pier for the Mayor and City of Chicago's 19th annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The event, organized by the Chicago Commission on Human Relations Advisory Council on Veterans Affairs and the Mayors Office of Special Events, also included veterans and representatives from the Veteran's Administration and current military service members assigned to Great Lakes Naval Station.
