Description
English: A cropped version of this photograph appeared in Cassier's Magazine of August 1897 had an article on page 261-292, written by Sir William White and titled Specialities of Warship Design. It was accompanied by a number of illustrations, including this photo of the revolutionary turbine-powered Turbinia, on page 281. Turbinia in her early configuration. The funnel was increased in size in 1896.
