| Description |
English: (1 in a multiple picture album) The Yosemite Valley gets the most visitors and the scenery is beyond spectacular. A smaller, and lucky, number of people climb up to the high country on Tioga Pass Road where they can find scenes like this one a Tuolumne Meadows. This is a very singular alpine meadow in all of geology. The grasses are supported by a thin layer of top soil. Below that is one of the largest masses of granite in the world. |
