Summary
[edit]DescriptionTunnel entrance - geograph.org.uk - 1013788.jpg |
English: Tunnel entrance The tunnel is for inspecting the Hydro-electric underground water pipe line, from the dam at Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin (Loch Benevean), to Fasnakyle Power Station. The turbines were switched on for the first time on 19th July 1951. The overgrown entrance, suggests that the gates have obviously not been opened for many years. |
