| Description |
English: Tunnel End, Marsden This view is from Manchester Road (A62), and shows the spillway and aqueduct (over the railway) carrying the water supply for the Huddersfield Narrow Canal from the reservoir behind. Nowadays the water area of the reservoir is quite small, but it originally extended 500m up the valley. For a detailed account of the canal tunnel and three railway tunnels, with many images inside the central tunnel (now disused), see:
