Summary
[edit]DescriptionTunisie gypse.jpg |
Unknown top of a "shallowing upward" sequence in a recent, quaternary, lagoonal, tunisian "chott, zarzis area (see davaud, strasser & m'rabet, 1991, field book). algal, dolomitized laminations in yellow; gypsum crystals on top in grey. fossil equivalents were described by septfontaine (1985) in the middle liassic (- 190 my) of the high atlas rift, morocco. régressive autocyclic sequences, with dissolved or metamorphosed gypsum into calcite.Unknown top of a "shallowing upward" sequence in a recent, quaternary, lagoonal, tunisian "chott, zarzis area (see davaud, strasser & m'rabet, 1991, field book). algal, dolomitized laminations in yellow; gypsum crystals on top in grey. fossil equivalents were described by septfontaine (1985) in the middle liassic (- 190 my) of the high atlas rift, morocco. régressive autocyclic sequences, with dissolved or metamorphosed gypsum into calcite. |
