English: A walk along Tulip Tree Trail will take you through and
over a variety of unique habitats including pine-oak forest,beech-maple forest and wet sloughs. These natural communities represent gradual shifts in habitats and species, which occur due to the natural process of "succession A trail guide that explains this process in greater detail is available at the Visitor Centre Along the trail you may find many southern or "Carolinian" species whose range in Canada is limited to southwestern Ontario. These southerners include trees such as Sassafras, Shagbark Hickory, and, of course, Tulip Tree! The brilliant Prothonotary Warbler, another southern species can be found nesting in the sloughs during the spring and early summer. The terrain along the trail is flat with several boardwalks bridging the sloughs. Enjoy your hike and remember that for your protection and the protection of the park, stay on the trail and do not remove any plants or other natural objects you find. Take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints Length of short loop: 0.9km Length of long loop: 1.4km
