Español: Figura 2. Control hormonal de la espermatogénesis por el eje hipotálamo-hipofisario-testicular a través de un circuito neuroendocrino de tres niveles. Las flechas azules curvas indican una renovación de las células; las flechas de colores sólidas y punteadas indican la acción primaria y la acción de retroalimentación de las hormonas. AR, receptor de andrógenos; BTB, barrera hematotesticular; FSH, hormona estimulante del folículo; FSH-R, receptor de FSH; LH, hormona luteinizante; LH-R, receptor de LH; T, testosterona. Se ha demostrado que sólo un túbulo seminífero contiene las células germinales; para otros, no se ha mostrado intencionalmente, solo para mantener la figura menos complicada para la visualización de los lectores. |
