Deutsch: Bronzekopf eines Greifenprotomens (Höhe 27,8 cm) ohne Hals (Höhe 39 cm) von einem Greifenkessel aus Olympia, 7. English: Large, cast bronze griffin head (Mallwitz #53, Gegossener Greifenkopf or Großer Greifenkopf, Olympia Museum); this is a fragment of a protome (without neck) attached to a cauldron (which is estimated to have measured 8.65 m in diameter), which also must have had an accompanying rod-tripod (Stabdreifuß) stand.
