Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A one-map two-clock[1] or metric-first[2] animation of a one-gee constant proper accelerated roundtrip between Proxima Centauri and Sirius.

The faint red arrow denotes the thrust (proper-acceleration) direction.

Dark grey stars are more than 4[ly] below the plane of motion, while light grey stars are more than 4[ly] above the plane.

Cyan dots are about 2/10ths of a traveler year apart. Small circles are roughly the size of the Oort cloud around our star.

One "simulator-second" time-steps represent elapsed traveler-times of 1/10th year, 1.2 month, or 36.5 earth-day, so that unfolding events are sped up by a factor of about 3.15 million times.
