| Description |
English: Trig pillar at Hexham Racecourse Racing has been taking place since the end of the 18th century on Yarridge Heights, high above Hexham town http://www.hexham-racecourse.co.uk. The trig pillar stands just behind the grandstand and offers a commanding view of the hills and valleys of Hexhamshire to the south-east. In this instance, the cars are parked not for a race but for the Red Cross Christmas Fair. |
