English: The festival in India for cows is "Gai Gori" Gai is a Hindi translation of a cow. In Jhabua district of state Madhya Pradesh, India. This festival is celebrated every year at the time of Holi, In this festival, Tribal people of Jhabua decorate the cow with colors, designs & various crafts & pray her. They prey her because they believe as most of them are farmers. the cow is their goddess as they earn with the help of the cow in the farms.
