Summary
[edit]DescriptionTransHab shell cutaway.jpg |
English: This computer generated image shows a cutaway of the Transhab module shell showing the various layers. Transhab was, as of 2001, intended to be installed on the International Space Station. This research was subsequently abandoned by NASA, and was later licensed by private spaceflight company Bigelow Aerospace. Bigelow has, as of 2009, placed two demonstration spacecraft into orbit, validating the Transhab technology.
