micelleclufond se trouve encadré dans le petit ramage rouge vif ;mais limpression a-t-elle été faite avec deux ou trois cylindres ?Si cest avec deux , le premier cylindre aurait imprimé le rougevif ; le second , le fond rose, dans lequel se trouve le dessinvermicelle blanc ; mais le rouge et le rose auraient été ainsi im-primés en même temps , et il naurait pas été satisfait à lobli-gation qua sanctionnée la pratique, dabandonner toujours lacouleur la plus foncée au repos avant dimprimer la plus claire;à moins davoir pris quelques précautions particulières, on adonc obtenu cet échantillon en imprimant à la machine à deuxcouleurs, dabord le rouleau rouge vif, puis le rouleau blancréserve sous rose à larsémate ou au citrate potassique, ouencore un blanc réserve mécanique, et, quand le rouge a été suf-fisamment reposé, en recouvrant uniformément la toile au rou- 1
