English: Trafalgar Square, fourth plinth For many years, the fourth plinth, at the North-western corner of Trafalgar Square, was unoccupied. Artist Antony Gormley devised a scheme, "One & Other" to allow members of the public to do their own thing on the plinth for an hour; from 10 to 11am on July 15th, a man with loud hailer and banner for the charity Scope http://www.oneandother.co.uk/participants/Sundaycyclist . http://www.london.gov.uk/fourthplinth/plinth/gormley.jsp |
