Description As we prepare to ride downhill towards the airport, i spotted this beautiful traditional wooden house, right next to St. Michael's. I'd photographed several of these house from the van en route to Uncle Tan's, and several colourful ones in Kampung Buli Simsim. This one however bore the traditional wood colour, and appeared the most authentic of the lot. I did not venture closer as I did not want to intrude on anyone's privacy, and shot from a respectable distance. (Sandakan, Sabah, East Malaysia, Nov.2013)
