Description
English: Balinese women on their way to perform the Mepeed ceremony to celebrate the Kuningan (traditional sacred Balinese holiday), they wear the Kebaya and Tenun which are the traditional attire of Balinese. These kind of tradition native to the Indonesian island of Bali.
Bahasa Indonesia: Tradisi mepeed ini dipertahankan hingga sekarang. Tradisi ini dilaksanakan pada hari ke-10 setelah Hari Raya Kuningan. Para ibu-ibu berpakaian adat itu berjalan beriring-iringan menuju ke Pura. Sejumlah ibu-ibu Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dari 12 banjar adat yang ada di Desa Kukuh, Kecamatan Marga, Tabanan, Bali. Mereka sambil mengangkat gebongan berisi buah-buahan, daun janur dll di atas kepala semua sama.
