| Description |
English: Town houses, Dublin Road, Omagh. This pair of semi-detached houses located near the Library, were built in 1926 at a cost of £600.00 under the Lloyd George scheme to provide economical housing. The reason that they were positioned at a slant to the main road was that they were to be part of a crescent, but funds ran out and the rest of the land along the upper side of the Dublin Road was sold off in plots. In recent years the chimney was re-built at a cost of £700.00, more than the initial cost of erecting the two dwellings. |
