Description

Hospice de la Charité (1752-1761). Fondé par Saint-Vincent de Paul en 1621 et reconstruit par Soufflot au 18ème siècle. Les nouveaux-nés abandonnés étaient placés dans le tambour en bois.

Founded by Saint-Vincent de Paul in 1621, rebuilt by Soufflot in the 18th century.

Abandoned newborns were placed in a wooden hatch to the right of the entrance.
