Summary
[edit]DescriptionTotal Lunar Eclipse (15474648641).jpg |
A lunar eclipse occurs when the shadow from Earth obscures the moon. This means that the sun, the Earth, and the moon are all in alignment. This total lunar eclipse was just beginning to break. This is the second in a lunar tetrad (a series of 4 total eclipses spaced approximately 6 months apart). Photo taken in McIntosh County, Kulm Wetland Management District, North Dakota.
