Español: Esta almenara sigue el modelo de las torres de la planta circular y alzado troncocónico, como es el caso de las torres de las Bóvedas y Río Real. En su base inferior presenta un cuerpo macizo, con un núcleo interior de tierra y piedra apisonada y con un revestimiento exterior de mampostería. En la planta alta, a 6,90 metros del suelo, existe una entrada a un único habitáculo dotado de chimenea y con cubierta en forma de cúpula. En el lado orientado al mar se abre una pequeña ventana, desde la que el vigía o torrero ejercía su labor.
Para Juan Temboury se construyó durante la segunda regencia de Fernando V (1511-1516). Es posible que, a mediados del XVIII, albergara “dos cañones de a cuatro”, lo que debió conllevar reformas arquitectónicas visibles en el petril del lado sur de la terraza que presenta un rebaje sobre el resto del mismo.
