Description

This broadside advertises the sale of lots in Toronto held November 15, 1847. The sale included "private residences", acre lots and waterfront lots. It also offers six lots on the west side of Strachan Street. "These lots will be put up at a certain Sum per Annum, payable as Rent half-yearly. The term, 999 years, with privilege of purchase." Now THAT's thinking ahead!
