Description
English: A view from the railway station of Tornio in Finland. The station has gone through various significant changes in 2024, including dismantling/constructing railway tracks, building a new passenger platform, and adding the infrastructure for railway electrication. The railway line from Laurila to Tornio had its 25 kV current switched on for the first time on November 11, 2024.
Suomi: Tornion rautatieasema on läpikäynyt erilaisia merkittäviä muutoksia vuonna 2024. Raiteita on rakennettu ja purettu, on tehty uusi matkustajalaituri ja raideliikenteen sähköistyksen vaatima infra. Laurila–Tornio-rataosuuden ajojohtimiin kytkettiin jännite 11. marraskuuta 2024.
