Image title	From the slopes of Waimea, to the brackish lowlands of Laie, to the desolation of Iosepa, no more dedicated, or faithful daughter of God could have walked the paths of Kamakaopiopio. She and Kaohimaunu embraced the gospel and were early leaders to the young church in Hawaii. She heeded calls made, first to Laie in 1864, then to Salt Lake Valley in 1878, and finally to Iosepa. These voyages of faith have led her descendants, now numbering eight generations, to remain true to the Church. Her desire to seek temple blessings for her family was paramount in her life and was sealed with her death, the first person laid to rest here in Iosepa. Her life and death leave us a legacy to always stand in holy places and walk in the ways of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Me ka ho'ohanohano mau, a me ka ho'ohali'ali'a i ko makou tutu wahine.
