Deutsch: Antonia Cordes (1902–1992), genannt „Toni“, eines von neun Kindern des Heinrich Cordes , besuchte von 1913 bis 1922 die Freie Schulgemeinde in Wickersdorf bei Saalfeld im Thüringer Wald. Sie unterrichtete im Sommer 1926 als Gastlehrerin an der Schule am Meer auf der ostfriesischen Nordseeinsel Juist das Fach Biologie, im Mittelkurs die Systematik der Zoologie, im Oberkurs die Anatomie des Menschen. Sie gehörte zu den Vertrauensleuten der Schule am Meer. Nach Ihrem Studium der Medizin war sie Assistenzärztin an der Universitätsfrauenklinik Jena. Antonia Cordes wurde 1929 approbiert und promovierte 1933. Sie stellte 1933 einen Antrag zur Aufnahme in die NSDAP, wurde jedoch abgelehnt, weil ihre Mutter Yuksin Chou chinesischer Abstammung war. Ab 1935 war sie als niedergelassene Ärztin im thüringischen Apolda tätig. 1941 wurde sie als Fachärztin für Gynäkologie anerkannt. Siehe auch: Antonia (Toni) Cordes, auf: charite.de |
