Summary
[edit]DescriptionTomb of Nicholas Sutton - geograph.org.uk - 827173.jpg |
English: Tomb of Nicholas Sutton Presumably relocated after the 1794 rebuild, the Jacobean tomb to Nicholas Sutton who died in 1602, without a figure on the plinth. The guide claims he had connections with the Knights Templar ..... there was a Preceptory in Willoughton, but unless he was almost 300 years old when he died, this is chronologically impossible ! |
