Description
English: Iltutmish was the son-in-law of Qutub-ud-din Aibak and acceded to the throne of the Delhi Sultanate in 1211 and ruled till his death in 1236. His tomb is situated in the Qutb Complex. The gates of the tomb are beautifully carved with intricate designs of utmost precision and the walls of the tomb throw light on the culturally rich history that the city was a part of.
This place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the reference 233.
