Artist: Ogata Kenzan (1663–1743) Period/Century: Edo period, 18th century Material: Stoneware with underglaze brown Donor: Gift of the Bureau for the Vienna World's Fair Collection reference no. G-33 Japanese ceramics in the Tokyo National Museum. The studio of Ogata Kenzan played a leading role in Kyoto ceramics. This dish was exhibited at the Vienna World Exposition, and later salvaged from the sunken French ship Le Nil that was transporting it back to Japan.日本語: 銹絵葡萄図角皿 |
