Description
English: As so often one can see inside, where there may be coffin-like monuments. One of pictures before and after restoration of this tomb from 1251 from the Seljuk period. It is in Cami Kebir District. The tomb, which people call "Kömekli Baba", was built in 1251 by Abu Bakr bin Lokman. Since there are no inscriptions, it is not clear who is buried. However, it is possible that one of several buried people was Sefer Pasha, who had the Kasaphane fountain built. A mosque to which is belonged was completely destroyed. The octagonal tomb made of cut stone with a pyramidal cone still stands.
