English: The palace in image (also known as Daria Daulat Bagh ) situated in Srirangapatna ,is the summer palace of Tipu Sultan one of famous rulers of Mysore. The construction of this palace was started by Tipu Sultan's predecessor, Hyder Ali, in 1778 and completed by Tipu himself in 1784. The architecture is said to be a mix of ancient Indian and Islamic architecture as shown in structure and wall paintings in image. |
