Summary

[edit]
Description

536 people have been into space, that’s 0.000007% of humanity. More years have passed between when we last stood on the moon (1972), and the number of people who have physically witnessed the Earth as a blue circle suspended in front of a vast expanse of nothing (24); only 12 of whom have ever stood on a foreign celestial body.

The significance of humanity to themselves, is dwarfed only by the current insignificance of humanity to the rest of the universe. I, personally, can’t wait for the day we change that.
