Description

From the Kiva roof the drum beats callin El Paso Tigua Indians to dance, a highlight of the Pueblo tour. across the way is the Ysleta mission. The mission was completed by Tigua labor in 1862, two years after the arrival of this pueblo group (speaking in Tiwa tongue) in what is now Texas.
