English: An Afghan National Army soldier works on opening the heater to a Meal, Ready-to-Eat as he looks on at the controlled detonation of an improvised explosive device found in the ground earlier in the morning by ANA soldiers. At the edge of the cliff face, Afghan, British, Danish and U.S. Marine forces observed the Afghan-led detonation together as partners in a clearing operation in Nahr-e Saraj district, Helmand province.
