Summary

[edit]
Description
English: SSgt. William McDonald, Lt. Haywood Hansell, Jr., Capt. Claire Lee Chennault and SSgt. John H. Williamson formed the “Three Men on a Flying Trapeze,” an early Air Corps aerial demonstration team at Maxwell Field, 1933 to 1935. The tactics developed by these men helped pioneered many of the World War II fighter tactics. (U.S. Air Force photo)
