[edit]DescriptionThomas the Tank - geograph.org.uk - 1278775.jpg |
English: Thomas the Tank Thomas the Tank pulling into Weybourne from Sheringham.
Thomas the Tank engine has now been dropped by the railway and been replaced by a family fun day. This is due to increased costs imposed by Hit Entertainment who own Thomas. The Nene Valley railway at Peterborough is the only line not affected due to it owning the original Thomas. In the sidings next to the second lamppost is the remains on the last surviving J21 locomotive which is now under restoration. Behind that is the Wisbech and Upwell coach. This Great Eastern Railway vehicle is the only surviving coach from the line that inspired Toby the Tram from the Thomas Series. Its sister coach was also used in the Titfield Thunderbolt. |
