Summary

[edit]
Description
English: About every hundred meter, leading up to the Victory Monument, a stone with a year, counting up from 1941 to 1945, could be found. Here, I've stopped by the 1942 stone. The memorial complex on Poklonnaya Hill was completed as recently as the mid 1990s. The inauguration ceremony took place on the 50th anniversary of Victory-in-Europe-Day, May 9th 1995.
