DescriptionThe upraised middle finger.jpg |
This view from the Central Freeway in the North Mission, San Francisco, California. I am very very pro-high-density development, don't get me wrong. I think San Francisco needs many more high-rise residential buildings. However, it does not need them right on the fucking top of Rincon Hill where they ruin the view of the city from the bridge. So the hundreds of thousands of people who commuted and enjoyed that view get fucked because a few hundred super-rich people want a nice view from their condos. Fuck. That. This building and the others that are spoiling the city view should never have been approved. If it was built 5 blocks north, I would be totally onboard with the idea. Too late now, though. And of course with real estate crashing who knows if it'll even make the developers any money - I guess the megarich are still megarich, though. |
