Juvenile red-backed shrike (Lanius collurio) perched on a branch of a dog rose shrub. Thorny shrubs are important for shrikes as thorns are used for food storage.

Młody gąsiorek (Lanius collurio) stojący na gałęzi dzikiej róży. Cierniste krzewy są istotne dla dzierzb, gdyż ciernie są wykorzystywane jako spiżarnia.
