Description
English: A demigod of the town Kanakatte in Karnataka in which people have immense faith. Mukkannu Maramma is believed to protect the villagers from all evil spirits. Once in a few years, the deity possesses an interpreter, and through him blesses all the devotees. People from the entire district gather to witness her miracles.
